Simpson County Technical Center Hosts Fall Advisory Committee Meeting

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Simpson County Technical Center welcomed district staff, business and industry partners, parents, and student representatives for its Fall Advisory Committee Meeting.

A group of educators, business and industry partners, and community members are having a discussion.

The purpose of the meeting was to connect career and technical education (CTE) instructors with community stakeholders to discuss programs, share updates, and gather valuable feedback. These conversations help ensure that CTE courses remain aligned with workforce needs while also giving students and families a voice in shaping the future of career and technical opportunities in Simpson County.

In addition to program discussions, the event fostered stronger partnerships between the school district and the business community. By working together, these groups play an important role in supporting students' career readiness and building pathways that lead to success beyond high school.
